Q: WHAT IS HCS CAMP? A: HCS CAMP stands for Hyper Creative Studios Camp. It is a biannual youth adventure boot camp usually held in remote exquisite regions in Cross River State. The closet example is Guilder Ultimate Search. It’s a time out from technology and I meant allow you experience the rural lifestyle of the host community while still having fun.
Q: IS THIS THE FIRST CAMP? A: NO. This is HCS’s sixteenth camp. HCS Camp 1 held 8 years ago.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS AT HCS CAMP? A: HCS CAMP is packed with fun and safe activities like Hiking, fishing, rock scrambling, canoe rides, Bonfire / talent night, Nature model sessions, tours, comedy night, guest talk, safety drill, Lady & Lord of Camp pageant, games / competitions, Last night house party, Group tasks, etc.
Q: HOW MANY DAYS IS THE CAMP? A: The camp is only five days.
Q: WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE NEXT CAMP HOLD? A: December 15-19, 2016 at Cross River National Park and Kwa Rapids, Akampkpa, Cross River.
Q: IS IT SAFE? A: Safety is our watch word, we have our camp security and we also have rules and regulations to protect other campers from causing any trouble.
Q: WHAT QUALIFIES ME TO ATTEND? A: You have to be physically fit and you need to be at least 18 years of age.
Q: HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION FORM: A: Registration is N7,500 (Covers feeding, Transportation, Accommodation and Tours for the five days)
Q: WHEN IS THE CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION? A: December 12, 2016.
Q: WHY SHOULD I ATEND HCS CAMP; ANY BENEFITS? A: There are so many reasons to attend the camp, the first should be for the FUN. At HCS CAMP we ensure you having fun all through. To explore nature to the fullest, To put your Creativity to use, to leave town for a while and put a break to your daily ritual, to learn survival skills, to go somewhere new, to earn a HCS CAMP Certificate of Attendance and most importantly, to make new friends.
Q: HOW CAN I BE A PART OF THE CAMP? A: Start by Registering at any of our registration points or with our representative (PHONE: 08175373326)
Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE CAMP? A: All you need are a Pair of boots, Covering clothing, A thick blanket, stockings and a good attitude.
Q: WHAT SHOULDN’T I BRING? A: Weapons of any kind or any objet that can harm other campers, expensive jewelry, excessive money, laptops, ipads and any high tech gadget.
Q: DO I NEED TO AUDITION FOR THE CAMP? A: There is no audition but there will be a screening to ensure that you are of age and fit for the camp.
Q: HOW ABOUT MOSQUITOS? A: Mosquito nets will be provided for everybody to sleep in.
Q: I’m a model. Will I take pictures? A: Models will be given time to take professional photos during the model photo session by weeshotit .
Q: WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS? A: There is a health centre not very far away but we have not had any reason to use it so far.
Q: WHO AND WHO IS INVOLVED? A: HCS CAMP is supported and sponsored by the Cross River State Government through the Cross River State Tourism Bureau. Many outfits will be represented as well.
Q: DO I NEED TO COME WITH MY FRIENDS? A: It is not necessary, we have activities that do not require friends. Remember you will make friends in camp. However if your friends wanna come, bring them. If there is still space, we will welcome them happily.
Q: I’M NOT IN TOWN AT THE MOMENT. HOW CAN I REGISTER? A: You can always pay into our bank account to secure your slot and fill the form when you are back.
Q: WILL THE CAMP BE FILMED? A: YES, HCS will be recording for her reality tv series.
